I had no accessible room despite needing one, and my sheets had blood on them when I arrived. Tissues and other basic supplies were missing as well. Staff were rude and dismissive when I made reasonable requests, and Rosa, the manager, showed no compassion or professionalism. Then the power went out. I was left on the second floor in total darkness, without an elevator, help, anyone answering the phones, or anyone at the front desk. Because of my disability needs, I had to ask strangers to carry my belongings downstairs. It was a serious safety concern, not just an inconvenience. When I asked for a refund over these problems, Rosa refused compensation and was dismissive. I asked for the corporate number, and she laughed and said, “1-800-Holiday.” She told me she was the only manager, which makes the situation more troubling. I felt ignored and disrespected throughout the stay, as if my concerns didn’t matter. I expected basic cleanliness, accessibility, safety, and respectful service, and got none of that. I’m asking corporate leadership to review the conditions and service I described and respond about compensation for the problems I faced. I’ve never been treated so poorly by hotel staff. I don’t plan to stay at Holiday Inn Express again, and I’ll be sharing what happened. No guest should be treated this way.

We were in town for work and to see family, and this was a lovely stay. The hotel is in a nicer part of town near River Park Shopping Mall. Rooms and staff were fantastic, and the hospitality was great, including complimentary toiletries if you forgot something at home. The hot breakfast was included and actually delicious. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We’re looking forward to coming back for our next work trip, and I’d recommend it for work, visiting, or a trip to nearby Yosemite.

The breakfast could have been better for the price, especially if you’re vegetarian. There were few vegetarian choices, mostly meat, pancakes, bread, and muffins, and the eggs listed on the website weren’t available. We stayed two nights with family for a local event and a zoo visit. The hotel is near the freeway, but our room was quiet. The room and bed were decent, the bathroom was okay, and the shower could use an upgrade.

Rooms were good and the staff friendly. This had the best IHG breakfast I’ve seen in any hotel over the last two years, and I’ve stayed at a lot. The washing machine charge was the one real bummer, $6.25 a load is crazy. The employees said the machine owners set the price. Fine, but then replace them with your own. It’s only a buck or two in Rosenberg, TX and Monroeville, PA. Want clean clothes? Use the bathroom sink.

The room was very good value, with all the amenities placed thoughtfully. I’d highly recommend the hotel and would stay here again if I return to Fresno.
