The staff were the one good part of this stay. Both the front desk and housekeeping employees were kind and helpful, which made everything else even more disappointing. The Comfort Suites brand shares blame for letting its name stay on a property in this condition. It shouldn’t hide behind the idea that only individual owners are responsible, because this reflects badly on the brand too. The hotel feels like it’s been left to deteriorate, and it’s hard to believe the owners don’t see how neglected and filthy it is. It comes across like they’re trying to make quick money while ignoring the problems, with no pride in the property. The air conditioning barely worked, the hallway lights kept flickering like Studio 54, and the old shower curtain didn’t keep water from spilling across the bathroom floor. There were water stains on the walls, plastic over the AC window unit, and heavily stained, filthy carpets. The elevator was awful every time I used it. I was shocked and disgusted that Comfort Suites would keep this hotel operating. The disrepair throughout made the experience painful and brutal, and I can’t see how anyone could pretend this is acceptable.

Those large sliding windows opened all the way without restrictors or fall protection, which is a serious safety concern and shows a lack of basic standards. The elevator also felt unreliable, with buttons that didn’t work properly. The room smelled musty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned well. There was hair in the bed, and the towels were dirty and rough. The bathroom lights didn’t work, and the in-room phone was broken, which is unacceptable for safety. With the cleanliness problems, broken items, and poor upkeep, I wouldn’t stay here again.

It looked nice from outside, but our room felt sketchy. Red stains were all over the carpet, and I found multiple roaches. Ants were crawling on the walls too. Would not recommend.

My room had a weird smell, and the bathroom tray was covered in razor blade marks. There were bugs everywhere, and the milk smelled sour, so the breakfast food felt risky. The elevator seemed unsafe too. Don’t put your hand in as the doors close, or it’ll smash you. Definitely won’t book here again.
