The Lancaster Manor B&B

The place has a historic Gainesville charm that makes it feel like you’re stepping into a piece of history. The food choices were exceptional, too. What stood out most was the warmth from Connie and John. Their care and passion show in the details, and they made us feel welcome and valued from the moment we arrived. The owners have clearly put a lot of themselves into this place. It’s an experience that stays with you and makes you want to return.

The Rose Room was amazing, clean, and far beyond what I expected, with a beautiful old-fashioned soaking tub. When we checked in, they asked what we wanted for breakfast the next morning. They brought delicious sweet bread to our room, and there were chocolates on the bed that night. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the best salmon eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. This is the best bed and breakfast, with a beautiful property. I’m planning another trip, and next time I’ll stay longer than one night.

The B&B itself was the best part of our weekend getaway. John and Connie welcomed us right away, and the hospitality made the stay feel personal, relaxing, and full of charm. We arrived as guests and left feeling like family. The location is convenient too, just a short drive to Winstar Casino and the Blue Ostrich Winery. I highly recommend Lancaster Manor for a peaceful, top-notch getaway.

We stayed for a wedding and the hospitality and food were excellent from check-in through our morning departure. They welcomed us with wine, beer, and homemade banana nut bread, which was delicious. Breakfast was phenomenal, with homemade French toast and eggs Benedict with bacon and avocado. John and Connie were friendly and wonderful hosts. We’ll definitely be back, and you leave with a full belly. Thanks for everything.
