We love relaxing in the first-floor common rooms and sipping wine on the upstairs balcony. The owners are wonderful to work with and go out of their way to make the stay five-star. After visiting more than 50 bed and breakfasts, this one is our favorite by far. The historic home is beautiful, furnished with period pieces, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast can be served on your own timetable. There are lots of extra touches, including spirits and snacks, and it's dog friendly. Such a perfect, relaxing getaway.

The common living area is cozy, whether you want to chat or sit quietly, and there are treats, refreshments, and continental breakfast stocked. Denton Street Heritage House is a charming, beautifully updated B&B, and Trey and Amy Schalke were incredibly welcoming hosts. There are four upstairs rooms: two kings, one queen, and one with two double beds. Each has a full bath except the double room, though there's another full bathroom downstairs. It's in a great location, and while it's near the train tracks, that didn't really bother us. Fantastic B&B, we'd stay again.

We got lucky and had the whole place to ourselves on a Monday night. Trey and Amy have done a great job making this roughly 130-year-old home comfortable and memorable. The hosts made the experience fantastic. If you get to visit this charming little town, stay at Denton Street Heritage House, then take a walk around the historic neighborhood.

We had the whole house to ourselves for three nights, and the rate was about a third of what the Casino would have cost. It was a lovely escape from the rush of everyday life, and we'll definitely return. The Heritage House exceeded my expectations, even after staying at many B&Bs. It's a beautiful, immaculate home, about ten minutes from Winstar Casino and 25 minutes from some great wineries. Trey even offered us rides to and from the casino, which I've rarely seen at a B&B. He's a true Southern gentleman, clearly born and bred in Texas. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the refurbished bathrooms were great for someone as picky about sleeping arrangements as I am. We knew from the website that breakfast was continental, meaning not hot. I enjoyed the fresh muffins, fruit, homemade bread, orange juice, and champagne for mimosas. Eggs, bacon, and other breakfast staples were also there for us to prepare if we wanted. The complimentary beer and wine in the fridge was a welcome extra, though we hadn't expected it. I was a bit confused by a less favorable review I'd read before booking.

We expected the kind of B&B breakfast and company we'd enjoyed elsewhere, but the hosts weren't staying at the house and there were no other guests. We were alone in the big old place, with supermarket muffins and pound cake left in the kitchen the night before, little boxes of sugary cereal, and a few pieces of fruit. There was no oatmeal, granola, plain bread for toast, eggs, or bacon, and the only drink option besides coffee seemed to be no tea selection. We were hoping to chat with people over breakfast and have something homemade, like pastries, family recipe pancakes, or fruit compote. The hosts greeted us warmly and clearly put a lot of love into the vintage house, but we missed having a B&B experience. After an eight-hour drive, we really needed a hot breakfast the next morning. This was the low point of our cross-country trip, during which we'd stayed at B&Bs and hotels in many states. It cost more than the Holiday Inn Express we stayed at the next night in New Mexico, where there was a full gym, pool, laundry, tea selection and kettle in the rooms, and free hot breakfast with eggs and pancakes. There were other guests to say hello to in the morning, too.
