The front desk woman was very knowledgeable and somewhat accommodating. As for the property, some fresh paint, pressure washing every six months or so, and clean windows would make a difference. Furniture doesn't have to be the best; it's how you look after and present what you have. My stay was okay, not great, but it will do.

The front desk staff were very friendly, but the room was a different story. The floor was filthy, the bathroom wasn't clean, and I haven't found a Studio 6 where the floor wasn't disgusting. I hadn't realized Studio 6 was basically the same as Motel 6, and I should've researched first. For just $10-15 more, you can get a much better place. Next time I'll spend the extra money elsewhere. The pool wasn't fit to use either.

Hotels.com was the only reason I wasn't left completely stranded. They helped me find a solution after Studio 6 canceled my confirmed January reservation months later, saying they had overbooked. I had booked for my graduation, one of the busiest and most important times of the year. The hotel offered no alternative or other help, just canceled. I wouldn't trust this place with an important booking.

My mom booked here for a weekend visit because most Marriott and Hilton rooms were over $300 a night. The online descriptions didn't match what the motel offered, and the service from Raul at the front desk was the worst part. He was caustic toward her from the start. The room looked reasonably kept at first, but the bed had stains and the mix of chlorine and cigarette smells was overwhelming, so we decided to stay elsewhere. When we returned to ask about a refund, Raul interrupted two guests he was helping and asked us in a snarky tone if he could help. My mom said he could speak with us after he finished with them, but he insisted. He was unpleasant throughout the refund discussion. I told him he didn't need to be rude to her and asked him to stop, and he yelled, “Get out of my lobby,” several times. I'm not trying to get this guy in trouble, but the business needs to take customer service seriously. A bad day, or just his usual manner, doesn't make that behavior professional or acceptable. It hurts the business.
