Rick at the counter was kind and very helpful. At $75 a night, the price seemed fair, and I'd come back. The room was large, nicely refurbished, with a bathroom plus another sink and makeup area. The beds were comfortable. I did need help getting the TV to work reliably, and one sink stopper wouldn't lift without a screwdriver. The toilet seat was loose, so I tightened the bolts by hand.

Pistachio shells scattered across the floor made it pretty clear the room hadn't been cleaned properly. The microwave was sitting on the floor, blue cleaner was caked in the toilet, and the tub was gross. I brought in my truck blanket to avoid sleeping directly on the nasty bed. I couldn't make myself use either the shower or toilet. For that level of filth, the price was way too high. The room was

It's an old place that really needs remodeling, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the showers were nice and hot.

Our room and tub were both huge, with plenty of space for the kids to play. It was clean and quiet, and the woman at the desk was so nice. This isn't a fancy hotel, but for the price it was a very decent motel. I'm not sure why the bad reviews are there, unless management changed after the last one. I'd definitely stay again if I return to Garden City.

Roaches were all over the restroom and on the nightstand. The hotel was nasty, and the front desk staff were extremely rude. 0/10.
