New Gardena Hotel

It looked like an old property, but they’ve done a good job of maintaining it. The rooms were clean and spacious, everyone was friendly, and there was plenty of parking in the basement. The location is a bit far from tourist spots like Downtown, Arts District, and Observatory, but it’s manageable if you’re renting a car. Pretty good experience.

For a reasonable three-star hotel in southern Los Angeles, this is a good place to stay. The location works especially well, with lots of restaurants within walking distance and easy freeway access. I stay here when I come to LA.

For a quick stay like ours, it had what we needed and was a great value for the area. It’s very close to LAX and the main highways. We loved the Japanese breakfast option, a clean and delicious way to start the day, and I left feeling great. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable and supportive, and the giant bathroom mirror was a nice touch. The bidet toilet was a pleasant surprise, and the free secured parking was a big selling point. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and polite. We’ll be back whenever we visit the LA area.

My friend and I stayed one night in a spacious, incredibly clean room with two very comfortable double beds. The hotel was quiet and tranquil, and I appreciated that the AC was already on when we arrived. All the staff were kind and thoughtful. There’s free monitored parking and breakfast. I had the Japanese style, and my friend had the American style. Both were really good and filling. The hotel also has a gym and pool, though we didn’t use either during our one-night stay. I’d definitely recommend it and stay again next time I’m in the area.
