I won't be coming back. The rooms were dirty, the showers barely cleaned, there were mosquitoes inside, the sheets had holes, the lights hardly worked, and it was very noisy. Staff weren't very understanding or concerned about room and noise complaints; customer service didn't respond well when I raised the noise issue. I was also asked for a $50 deposit, but the website hadn't made clear why it was required. With rooms already dirty, it felt wrong to make guests pay a deposit and then check whether the room had been cleaned to get it back.

The night worker was rude and nasty from the moment I walked in, treated me badly, and did nothing to help. He got an attitude and said he couldn't do anything, and neither could a manager or anyone else. Then he stood behind the window acting aggressive and threatened me with the police. He wouldn't let me change my room dates or get a refund. I don't recommend staying here.

The room was clean and comfortable, with good heat. The shower had hot water and solid pressure, and the TV had a decent channel selection.

It wasn't the absolute worst place I've stayed, but it was close. If your idea of breakfast is three-day-old donut holes, sugary stuff, and fruit loops, you'll be happy. I saw the cops visit once. There seem to be a lot of long-term residents.

The staff were surprisingly helpful and nice, and the rooms were much better than I expected from the Econolodge reputation. Beds were clean and bug free, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom looked old, which is pretty typical for this brand, and the room condition would put it around 3.5 out of 5 stars if rating it practically. For a budget hotel, though, it was very nice for the price.
