St James Hotel

We loved the self-serve kitchen. It was small but packed with supplies, and the food choices made breakfast especially easy. Other guests and we could make our own meals there. Darla was easy to reach whenever we had a question or needed help with an amenity, and her care was especially appreciated when a winter storm threatened our checkout day. She tried to help us avoid driving over the pass if we decided to continue on to Sunlight. The St. James Georgetown Hotel was cozy, with lovely details and a very comfortable, tastefully decorated room. Check-in and checkout instructions were clear, and finding the hotel was easy. It's about 20 minutes from Loveland, an easy drive for skiing. We had a lovely stay, highly recommend it, and hope to come back.

Only one night for my birthday weekend with my partner, but we hope to stay longer next time. Darla makes the place feel like her home, with all the little touches, and we felt safe, looked after, and comfortable. The remodeled room and bathroom were lovely, the beds were comfortable, and I especially loved the claw foot tub. It was quiet even with people in the room behind us and upstairs, and everyone was considerate. Having a fully stocked kitchen to use, with guests cleaning up after themselves, made the trip even better. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Darla! Seth and Jana

This historic hotel made a strong impression on us when we stayed a few months ago. Walking in, you can almost picture how the eclectic building might have looked and felt when it was first built. The decor and furnishings fit its timeless character beautifully. The carpentry and distinctive craftsmanship are outstanding, while the bedrooms, bathrooms, and other spaces have also been updated in a comfortable, tasteful way. It all made for a beautiful stay. We'll make this our destination next time we're back in Georgetown.

Charming, comfortable, and in an awesome location. The shared self-service kitchen was a welcome feature. We worried our room, right by the street, would be noisy, but it was completely quiet. A few details show the place is still a work in progress, but in a good way. We know Georgetown well from many past visits, and this could become our new place to stay when we return.
