Homewood Suites by Hilton Memphis-Germantown

The room was nicely laid out, looked good, and having a small kitchen was convenient for my family and me. The biggest issue was the property's lack of proper deep cleaning for pet hair and dander. We did not feel the cleaning was thorough enough to remove it, which could be really bad for anyone with pet allergies. They might wake up swollen or struggle to breathe if they can manage to stay in the room. I'd also ask housekeeping to check that smoke alarms aren't covered, clean the toilet bowl's outer surface and base and the area around it, and rethink the tissue dispenser, which tears off just one or two squares at a time. A few details like these make a difference. When we pointed things out, someone fixed them. Hopefully the cleaning improves and other guests have a great stay.

A big shoutout to the morning breakfast team, especially Ms.Jordan and Ms.Angie. They were smiling the whole time and stayed on top of both the food and customer service. It was easily the best breakfast experience I've had at any hotel. Keep up the amazing work, ladies!

My boyfriend and I stayed two nights and enjoyed the whole visit. Everyone was kind and welcoming. The cook especially stood out: we don't eat pork, and though I didn't get her name, she brought us chicken so we could have breakfast too. We'll definitely be back.

It's a clean Homewood Suites in a nicer, safer area, and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is okay, and the breakfast lady is great. Some rooms have Keurigs. The pool is outside. The so-called gym is really just a bike, an elliptical, and a treadmill in a closet, with no bench or other equipment. There's not much within walking distance, but big-name gyms, grocery and liquor stores, gas stations, and a Walmart are all less than a five-minute drive away. Highway access puts most places in Memphis within 20 minutes or less. I'd stay again if I came to Memphis.
