The Virginia Cliffe Inn

We used the Cottage for a baby shower, and it was a wonderful space, cozy with plenty of room. Amanda and Andy were so sweet and accommodating, even when we had to reschedule because of the weather. The Mommy to Be was very happy, and we highly recommend this spot!

Our wedding at The Virginia Cliffe Inn was everything we dreamed of. The gardens, charming house, and reception space made the property feel magical, and our guests kept saying how beautiful and comfortable it was. The staff were kind, professional, and helpful throughout, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We’re so grateful we chose it 💕

The Inn was an easy drive from the Enrico Sports and Events Center, where we were attending an event, and it turned out to be a great choice for the night. It’s a beautiful, elegant older home, but everything inside is modern and sparkling clean. The remote-controlled heating was a nice touch. I have dietary restrictions, and they accommodated them without fuss or questions. I loved what I was served, and my husband, who has no restrictions, enjoyed his breakfast too. They also served homemade preserves, including my favorite, which I was excited to find for sale. During the holiday season they make their own “Christmas tea,” then serve and sell it all year. At twilight, the lighting around Va. Cliffe Inn was magical, and the grounds were immaculate, with quiet seating spots and even a pond with swans. We were there for an evening wedding reception, and the rain didn't spoil it since the tall, draped tent kept everyone covered. There was a raised gazebo for the cake or couple's table, plus a roomy food pavilion with space for gifts. Kids gravitated to the round deck beneath the trees, and the bar was centrally placed for guests. The restrooms were plentiful and home-like, and very clean. We stayed overnight too: our room had a comfortable bed and private bath, and one room even had a balcony. Breakfast had a thoughtfully planned menu. Va Cliffe Inn is a hidden gem on Mountain Rd in Glen Allen, VA. I'd love to come back for a fall weekend.
