Olea Hotel

They welcomed us with a glass of wine, which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and lovely, and the grounds look beautiful. There's also a pool, hot tub, and fire pit. Weekend breakfast is free and really good. Definitely a fan.

The property is quiet and close to town, and management was so friendly. Breakfast came out quickly and tasted great. I'd happily stay here again.

For our 10th wedding anniversary, my husband and I wanted a calm, romantic weekend, and staying here made it one we'll remember. It has a character that feels different from the big, cooperatively run hotels in Napa country. The reception staff greeted us warmly, with complimentary wine and snacks. We enjoyed the hot jacuzzi while it was empty. The pool was pretty cold, though it might be nice in summer. Breakfast was complimentary, thoughtfully made, and delicious. My husband had a veggie croissant, and I chose the ham and cheese quiche. The pastries tasted like they were made on site. I'm usually not much of a French pastry person, but I ended up having two croissants. We'll definitely come back!

The frogs singing on the surrounding hillsides made our late night hot tub soak especially peaceful. The grounds have lots of tucked away places to sit, and we loved the view of the hills from our upgraded King Hillside room, #16. It was gorgeous, with a fireplace, balcony, vaulted ceilings, and a bathroom with heated floors. The snacks in the room were a treat, too. We came from San Francisco to Sonoma on a last minute trip for some R&R, and Catherine was a generous, gracious host who handled all our requests and more. My husband thought his Swedish massage was one of the best he'd had. I had the Cocoa Butter body scrub and wrap, along with a massage from Catherine, an expert masseuse. Our one night at the Olea Hotel was outstanding. We'll be back and tell our friends.
