The hot tub was my favorite part of my birthday stay at Quality Inn on 02/11th. I had it to myself for nearly an hour before another couple joined, and it was so relaxing. The pool was much colder than I expected after the Jacuzzi, but I stayed in anyway. My room was quiet and peaceful, and I enjoyed the TX waffles, scrambled eggs, and bacon at breakfast. I’d hoped they’d have fruit and orange juice too. The front desk woman wasn’t very pleasant, and the first keys she gave me didn’t work, so she had to replace them. I was also disappointed that none of the gym equipment worked. Even with those issues, I enjoyed my stay.

The building looked old, and the pictures clearly weren’t current. It was filthy and disgusting, with mold covering the whole building and nasty rooms and toilets. This felt more like a motel than a hotel, and there was no breakfast. The people were rude. Don’t waste your money.

We left because the owner was extremely rude and aggressive, and that interaction alone made the stay uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. If you check reviews before booking, I’d choose somewhere else. We went to the La Quinta just down the road instead and had a wonderful experience.

My aunt paid for the room, but the woman at check-in wouldn’t let my mom and me, who were staying with her, use the pool. She talked rudely over us for five straight minutes and wouldn’t let us explain. As we left, she was at the desk computer playing solitaire and canceling the reservation. She was the rudest hotel check-in woman I’ve ever had the misfortune of meeting. We’ll never stay at this hotel again.

It’s a nice place overall, but the extra door lock was broken and the AC and heater weren’t working properly. The fan mode didn’t work either. Breakfast also didn’t have a full low-calorie selection.
