Palm Tropics Motel

The area is cincuenta, and there are shops, restaurants, and transportation close by. I think Palm Tropics works well for either a short or long stay. The price is decent, and the rooms seem clean when I check in. I clean my own room every day wherever I stay, since only then do I know it meets my standards. Nobody’s hotel or motel is ever perfectly clean, unless I clean it myself. The new manager and his wife are always sweet to me, and I’ve never had the problems with them that I’ve had at other nearby motels. I personally love staying here.

The mattress wasn’t very comfortable, and otherwise this place was just okay, nothing special. What really upset me was leaving my cooler in the fridge with food and prescription medicine inside. I called to say I was coming back for my things. The woman in the office said there was no prescription medicine and that they’d thrown out the food, which was fine, but why discard my prescription too? They had my number and could have kept the cooler. She wouldn’t listen, just got defensive and walked away. This wasn’t over-the-counter medicine. Her cold, careless response left me disappointed. I’ll never return, not even in my dreams. I wish I could give minus 10 stars. It felt like all they want is money, with nothing offered in return. If you can’t serve customers, don’t work in hospitality.

The staff were nice, but the room was really dirty. It looked okay at first glance, then everything seemed gross, and the floor turned our socks black. Our towels were completely stained, so I asked for fresh ones, but the replacements were just as bad.

There was a little garden in the middle of the parking lot, with a small fountain. It looked really nice. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were spacious and clean.
