The staff were helpful throughout, especially the lovely woman who checked us in. Breakfast was limited, but everyone in our group found something to eat. The bathroom and floors were clean, though there were large, gross stains on the curtains and a spot on the comforter. The hallway smelled strongly of skunk, but management dealt with it, and the rest of our stay was pleasant. The room is why I gave four stars.

We felt safe here, and it was very quiet at night, even though the hotel is right by the highway. It sits up on a hill, and we didn't hear noise from anywhere. Getting to major roads, restaurants, and shops was easy. Check-in was friendly and professional, our room was clean, and the heating and AC worked well. The coffee stayed fresh and hot all day. The price was great, and the employees seemed happy to work there, which made me think well of the manager. I'd recommend staying here.

The location makes it easy to get onto a freeway and reach Tulsa or the surrounding towns, all within about a mile. It was a quiet place, with lovely plants and color once spring got going. The hotel is beautifully looked after, and rooms were just under $100 a night. The staff were great, too.

We booked room 120, a king suite with a jacuzzi tub, for two nights over Valentine's Day. The layout was a poor choice for such an expensive room: it shared a wall with housekeeping's washroom, and the first morning brought banging, yelling, slamming doors, and dryers tumbling. It started out nicely, then went downhill fast when we found bedbugs. My fiancée found one the first morning that had fed the night before, most likely on me. I found two bites on my pinky. I'm severely allergic, and the swelling keeps building with fluid until I have to open the bite and drain it, then it starts all over again. After a six-hour drive, I unpacked everything despite usually checking mattresses and sofas for bedbugs. I hadn't picked up an iron from the front desk, and they don't keep irons in the rooms, which seemed odd. When I reported what happened, the woman didn't seem surprised. She offered to move us, but it was Valentine's Day and I assume all the jacuzzi rooms were booked. We'd reserved well ahead. It was a nightmare getaway.

My fiancé woke up with bedbug bites, but didn't tell me until we were leaving because he didn't want me to worry. Maybe the bug we saw in the bathroom was the one that bit him, or maybe not. Who knows. We spent 15-20 minutes checking the room, more than a basic look, and didn't spot anything else, but I guess it wasn't enough. We only had half a day left and decided the single bug might have been a one-off from another room. We'd come to meet a family friend and arrived a night early for a Valentine's getaway, booking room 120 with the big jetted tub. Friday evening was quiet and relaxing. The room seemed clean and new, and the TV worked, though our key had to be replaced a couple of times. Late Saturday afternoon, I spotted a bedbug in the bathroom. We killed it and saw it had recently fed. We told the front desk and asked for an iron as a way to check. They offered to move us, but since there was just one bug and it was in the bathroom, we wondered if it had come from another room, perhaps through the shower or sink. We also paid for the tub, and didn't want to give that up. The front desk woman was nice, but her reaction made me wonder if she'd heard about a problem before, or if she was just trying not to look grossed out. Either way, Valentine's Day was frustrating. Now we're driving home and have to put everything through the dryer. Some of my clothes may be ruined, including a lot that were brand new. It's so upsetting.
