After canoeing on the Cado at Luckies, we needed somewhere to stay, and Quachita Mountain Inn worked well for us. We booked through "Booking.com." The staff showed us to our rooms and brought cold Coca-Colas, which felt like peace offerings. There seemed to be a language barrier, as we believed they were Indian, but they made us feel welcome and gave us a very clean, comfortable place for the night. It's no Marriot or Hilton, but it was pleasant and much better than camping. Easy to get to, with convenience stores and a few restaurants nearby. The ice machine was out of order, but the staff went out of their way to find ice so I could ice my knee. They were extremely polite and willing to help where they could.

A top-tier budget hotel. It's an older place, but super clean inside and out, and everything worked as it should. The owners working the desk were very nice. Parking was easy, and it's close enough to the Crater of Diamonds State Park. We'll be back soon. Thank you very much!

Booking.com listed the King room as pet friendly, but I was told that was inaccurate. They offered a double room for the same price. It was late and I'd driven 11 hours, so I accepted. They didn't offer to correct the listing.

The price was great, and there’s a grocery store and a little Mexican bakery nearby. The room was clean and had a microwave and satellite TV, though there wasn’t a coffee maker. McDonald’s is also close, inside the Circle K.

The owners are great, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. My husband and I have always been treated well here. We once left something behind, and the gentleman called right away while we were at a restaurant in town. When we returned, he asked us to identify the item and show ID, then asked for another way to confirm it was ours. He was careful not to hand it to the wrong couple, and I really appreciated how he handled it. Have a great day.
