Comfort Suites near Tanger Outlet Mall

The second night, a power outage left us without elevators, and even the stairwell emergency lights weren’t working. It felt unsafe, and the front desk staff were dismissive when guests complained. I tried to reach the manager during the outage, but was told she wasn’t available. After checking out early, I called several times and emailed her, but got no response. A young woman kept saying she’d call me back, but she never did. I paid for a room I didn’t end up using. We had come for two nights during Mardi Gras, and the first night was miserable too. There was hair on the bed, the room smelled old, and the furniture was worn and dingy. The lamps had visible layers of dirt. When I asked to switch rooms, I was told none were available, and they wouldn’t refund us, so my family stayed the night. From check-in to checkout, it was one problem after another. I travel often, but I won’t stay at a Comfort Suites again, and I’ll tell people to avoid this chain. Extremely disappointing.

The staff were helpful whenever we needed something, and breakfast was ready early each morning before we headed to work. Our room was clean and the service was great. I remember Brittany and Tiffany in particular, and appreciate them and the rest of the team. I had a great stay and would come back if I’m in the area. I highly recommend Comfort Suites Geismar,Louisiana.

Everything was really clean, both the rooms and the shared spaces. The staff were great and helped with everything. The kitchen had good hot food along with cold, healthy choices.

The couch should be replaced, and the bathroom needed brighter lighting, including new bulbs for the ones that had burned out. The toilet kept running unless I removed the tank lid and fixed the chain myself. Service was good, and breakfast was good too.
