Economy Inn

A real hidden treasure for construction workers, with huge rooms that are cleaned every day and a respectful, hospitable host. It’s very affordable, and you can park right in front of your room. True American quality.

We booked two rooms for Saturday night because we were coming to move my father to Corpus Christi. We broke down and arrived late, but nobody was at the desk and the doors were locked. Calls and buzzers got no response. We spent more than 45 minutes ringing doorbells and trying to get help, then had to find a room at another hotel. I lost my money.

I checked into a king room today. Contractors working in town looking for somewhere clean and comfortable should consider this place. The front desk woman was polite, friendly, and helpful. My room is clean and comfortable, with a fridge, microwave, and roomy bathroom. The price is fair too.

The parking lot could use some care, but the people are friendly and helpful. The rooms are surprisingly clean, and you can tell they look after the place. For the price, they’ve got it right. The microwave, mini fridge, TV, AC, heater, and Wi-Fi all work.
