The Wolff Motel

There was no privacy. Neighbors knew our business, including what we owed, because the office told them. They also complained about visitors coming by. My room was filthy when I moved in, and Becky at the front desk said she hadn't cleaned it. During my stay I had two rats, roaches were like roommates, and the walls were thin. If you stay here, bring your own sheets and pillows, and don't bring kids. At first the manager and office staff were nice and tried to work with you to a point, but that didn't make up for the conditions.

The manager Joy is such a sweetheart, really kind and caring. Prices are low, and there's a nice, safe community here. Whether you're traveling or staying for a longer stretch, they'll take good care of you.

It's horrible. There are bed bugs, and Joy charges whatever she feels like charging. She also spies on you. I went to the office to complain about something and she said she'd seen it, as if she could see inside the restroom. Then she sent a friend of mine's boyfriend a picture from the camera monitor showing a friend of hers stopping by. Who does that? Seriously.

Drama, roaches, scary, and overpriced. It has potential, but under the management at the time, it felt like an expensive dump, not fit even for your pets. *Disclaimer: It turned out my bad experience was caused by a con artist who claimed to own part or all of the property, rather than by management. She's quite charming at first, but watch out. I hear she's since moved a few blocks away and still harasses the management at wolf inn. Gonzales is a wonderful gem, and the true locals are angels. Unfortunately, I won't be visiting anytime soon.
