Lake View Inn

Good spot for fishing and catching great sunsets. There’s plenty of parking for trucks with boats and lots of places to plug a boat in. Rooms are simple but clean, the A/C works well, and the price is fair. Honestly, I almost don’t want to rate it because then more people will want to stay here.

I was treated like a guest instead of a hassle or a suspect, which I really appreciated. The service was great, from the early check-in to keeping my phone safe after I left it behind in the room. Everything was very clean and the desk staff were professional. Breakfast wasn’t elaborate, just quaint and nice. Booking online costs $2 more than the cheapest, crappiest motel in Granbury, but this is much more than a motel. It has hotel quality and amazing views, and is definitely the best. We paid full price without booking online, and it was worth every penny. I do appreciate a good deal, but wasn’t upset at the cost. Thank God for everything.

Each time we’ve stayed here, it’s been great. The rooms are always comfortable and clean, and everyone is friendly. We’ll keep staying here when we visit.

The staff were kind and accommodating, even with only a small crew working. The hotel itself was run down and dirty from the outside, with very little curb appeal. Breakfast was sparse even for a continental meal, and the pool was dirty. Outdoor seating was worn out, with a tiny childlike grill sitting on the ground. The railings were peeling and the AC units were falling apart. In fairness, it was quite misleading.
