We paid $30 a night on the weekly rate, which is hard to beat, and had a terrific stay. Leanne is a kind, helpful, and awesome new manager, and one reason we fell in love with Grand Forks. We'd definitely return as long as she's there. The room was spacious, everything worked, and the decor was just funky enough to make it more fun than an average chain motel. The bathroom is tiny, but everything in it worked. We liked sitting outside our room in the quiet, and the grounds are lovely to explore. The heated pool is nice even when temperatures dip in early or late summer.

We stayed for a month, and the front desk manager asked my wife and me for a $400 deposit that day, giving six different reasons. We threatened to call the police and an attorney and recorded her. Then she cursed us out and stormed away. She robbed us. Housekeeping never cleaned our room, she tried to go through our things, and she stole our prescription narcotic pills. We're suing them, and I'll contact the owner. Don't stay here. This place is a meth haven with filthy management.

It's a very cheap place to stay. My brother-in-law was in Grand Forks briefly with a construction company and thought it was preferable to camping. The room seemed clean to me, though the bedding and furniture didn't match. The buildings look like they're falling apart, and the staff were drunk and belligerent. I wouldn't recommend it.

Don't stay here. It was horrible. When I arrived to check in at night, the front door was locked and I had to wait outside in the North Dakota winter until the owner came. I paid more than the online price, the key card took forever to work, and the bathroom door was barely hanging on and hard to move. Stay somewhere else.

This is a really good, economical place to stay. I travel for work and try a lot of places each year, and this is one of the nicer ones I've stayed at this year. The rooms are clean and smell good. The owners are kind of weird, riding around the rooms a dozen times a day, but whatever.
