MainStay Suites Grand Island

The room itself was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. But when I went to charge my phone, I found that about half the outlets didn't work. Parking is limited out front, with a larger lot behind the building, though the spaces are tight.

Breakfast was pretty good, with waffles, muffins, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, yogurt, juice, and fruit. I've stayed here a few times and it's always been a great experience. The staff are great, and check-in is quick. The rooms stay nice and quiet, and the bathroom was clean, well lit, and had a nice shower with soap and shampoo. The kitchen in the room was stocked with what you'd need, though you'll want to bring your own dish soap and sponge. It's right off the interstate, which is really convenient. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area!

We had a kitchenette with everything we needed for our two-night stay, and they also had appliances like a crock pot or pressure cooker available at the desk if needed. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The whole building looked welcoming and clean, too. My wife booked it to save money, and I was worried since she put price first, but this place quickly put those worries to rest. It was well located for our trip, with restaurants nearby. Check-in was quick and easy, and the man who helped us was very nice. Breakfast wasn't the greatest, but...

The cookies at reception were good, and it was nice having a kitchen and full-size fridge, even though we were only staying overnight. Our room was clean, relatively inexpensive, and quiet that night, so we slept well. Breakfast was a little sparse, but I suppose that comes with the price. My only issue was making the reservation. My wife called from the road and got transferred into a sales pitch about buying multiple nights or something. It wasn't clear if the booking had actually gone through, so she sat through the whole thing. That felt unnecessary.
