Motel 6 Grand Junction, CO

About four years ago this was a great cheap place to stay. This time the rooms were gross. The floor by the shower was destroyed and felt like you might fall through, and the toilet wobbled. One headboard was missing, leaving the left metal bracket on the wall exposed, a great way to split your head open. The beds were horrendous, the TV didn’t work, the heat didn’t work, and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Staff could care less that you’re a living, breathing person. The place was disgustingly horrendous.

I stayed twice, once in mid June 2025 and again around mid August 2025. The first time, the cable was out. Fine. On the second visit, the air conditioning was broken. I signed a paper saying they’d told me and I knew, whatever. But there was no water pressure at all in the morning shower. The guests next door were drinking and smoking in and outside their room after curfew too. Glad I won’t stay here again. Good luck.

Room 136 smelled nasty, and the beds were horrible. I could feel all the springs and could hardly sleep. There was no heat, the vents didn’t look changed, the A/C was all taped up, and the shower was disgusting. The bathroom door was all black and wouldn’t shut, and there was a broken headboard behind the bed. Like wow. I have lots of pictures to prove it, and I’m going to call the health department.

I’m new to the area and started working down the road, so I needed a room nearby that wouldn’t cost too much. This hotel fit the bill. Tony, the hotel manager, is absolutely amazing and deserves a shout-out for being such a good manager. Thanks again for the hospitality.
