Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott® Grand Rapids Airport

We never made it to breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The pool was nice, though, and there was always an employee in sight. Most of all, the customer service was the best from the moment we arrived. People greeted us with eye contact, smiles, laughter, and plain outright kindness. If I could, I’d rate the place 💯 just for the service. Keep up the awesome job, Ty & crew! I’ll be back soon💕🥰🛍️🥂. I’m sure you’ll remember us from these pics😉

The rooms were clean and updated, and this was a great place to stay. After snow fell overnight, my car got stuck in a drift in the parking lot. The ladies at the front desk jumped in and helped push it out. Thanks to them acting so quickly, I made it to work on time. I’m very grateful. Thank you again.

We weren’t told there would be construction, and the TVs were a letdown. Netflix on the bedroom TV wouldn’t connect to the Internet, and the other TV didn’t work at all. The room itself was clean, and the staff were excellent and welcoming. Breakfast was average, as expected. The stay was fair overall, but the staff made it better.

Check-in went smoothly, and each time we came in the friendly staff greeted us with a smile. It was a peaceful stay. The room was clean, with a fresh smell, TV, microwave, and mini fridge. The toilet was loose, but that wasn’t worth a rant. Clearly we were in a room that hadn’t been renovated yet. I’ve stayed here many times without an issue. Breakfast runs 7-10. We came down around 9:20 and everything was out. The breakfast gal was slow to refill it, and when she did, she brought only about six pieces of bacon at a time while four of us stood waiting for food. 🙄
