Hotel Rapids

The crepes and specialty coffees were amazing, thanks Eva et al!! I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Rapids. My room, sheets, and towels all had a neutral smell, which matters a lot to me. I was impressed by the clever fixtures for small spaces, and the hotel information binders made by the Grand Rapids High School woodworking department were a nice touch. I highly recommend this amazing little boutique hotel.

A $10 voucher for the on-site Bistro was a nice perk, and its amazing selection of crepes made my day after a long night celebrating. I was in town for a friend’s wedding, and Hotel Rapids made for a pleasant, hassle-free stay. Check-in was simple, and they were able to let me in early. The room was spacious, clean, and stylish. It was easy to find and access, with gas, food, and convenience options nearby. Compared with the other options available at the time, this reservation was a great value and really hit it out of the park for me.

The little bar was great, and the girl at the front desk was lovely. I liked the room and thought the place was new, I’d never seen renovations like this. I was just passing through on my way back to Canada and stayed one night. Only complaint is I couldn’t stay a second night because I had to boot back home. Will go again.

Chloe was super helpful, and the staff were great. The hotel and room are so cute, and the yurt was a really unique surprise. Breakfast wasn’t the usual fare, it was delicious crepes instead.
