Buona Sera Inn

The owner was gracious and provided everything we needed for a restful night. Our room was a little smaller than at other motels, and one more chair by the bureau would have made it more comfortable for two. I especially liked the bathroom artwork and the His and Hers towel hooks. A great little motel.

If you’ll arrive after 8:00 p.m., call ahead so they can leave your key in the lock box. Check-in ends at 8:00. We stayed in the Angel Room, and you can tell right away how much care went into it. It felt welcoming, with wine glasses and a bottle opener, heat lamps in the bathroom, and a beautiful bedspread. This isn’t a cookie cutter motel, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. The staff were extremely friendly and ready to help right away.

We needed a budget friendly overnight stop for the family, and we didn’t have to pay an extra deposit for our dog because we booked a dog-friendly room. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially when we arrived late during a winter storm. The room was clean, but very old and outdated, with a Schitt's Creek aesthetic. The uncarpeted floor was really cold in winter, and the heat took a while to warm the room. The water also took time to heat, and the pressure was low. It’s an old building, after all.

Call ahead if you’ll arrive after 8pm. They’ll put your room key in a lockbox and send the access code. We had the larger room because we had a dog and a baby, and even with all their things set up there was plenty of space. It was nicely decorated and reminded me of my grandparents’ house ❤️. The only downside was the creaky bed. I got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and woke the baby, though maybe I need to work on my stealth skills 🥷. I’d highly recommend this hotel. 🔟
