We chose Au Sable Riverview Resort for a quick escape from the city and stayed in The Brown Drake Cabin. The full kitchen and comfortable indoor seating made it easy to settle in, and the bed was really comfortable too. I especially liked sitting on the back porch and looking out at the Au Sable River. The bathroom had fluffy towels and a heat lamp, which were great. The cabin itself was beautiful, and we'd happily recommend the resort and its cabins.

We met up with friends we hadn't seen in a while at the end of March. There was still snow for sledding, but it was warm enough to sit in the sunshine on the porch. A great place to gather.

The staff were friendly, and the cabins were clean. One of them was ADA compliant, which was really nice. It's a relaxing area with a great view of the Ausable River.

The river views were amazing, and one morning we got up early enough to watch deer playing in the water. We stayed in a very clean cabin with fresh, crisp, comfortable bedding and nearly all the comforts of home in a quiet, secluded spot. There was a small issue at check-in, but management took care of it and upgraded us to the cottage. We'd stay again.
