Motel 6 Great Falls, MT

I’ve stayed here whenever I’m in town for the past eight years, and a year ago it wasn’t this bad. I don’t know if management changed, but something’s gone wrong. The bed had hair on it, the pillowcases and sheets were stained, and I slept on towels to avoid touching the bedding. The hallways were dirty and the whole building smelled of marijuana. My room also had no hot shower. I only stayed because of an emergency and needed a room. I won’t use this Motel 6 again, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re in an emergency.

The rooms were disgusting, and the manager or owner was a jerk. He spoke abusively to a female employee, who quit during the one night we were there. We’d driven 1,500 miles, so we stayed that night, then checked out the next morning and asked for a refund for the night we’d paid for but wouldn’t be using. He said he couldn’t refund us because they had no cash and no way to get any. I told him he could go to the bank since we weren’t staying. The whole place was dirty and disgusting, and I think the health department should inspect it. I’d give zero stars if I could. We stayed for the rest of our trip at the Heritage Inn, which was wonderful and worthy of praise.

The front desk service was great. The man who checked us in was cooperative and genuinely helpful, quickly moving us to another room when the first one was dirty. The rooms are basic and nothing fancy, but fair for the price. Management could pay more attention to cleanliness and minor repairs.

The rooms are clean and affordable, and all the staff are great. Juanita at the front desk stood out, she was friendly and helpful, smiling at everyone even when it got hectic.
