We stayed here for over a year while waiting for our place to be finished, and the rates felt more than fair for somewhere with an on-site workout room and laundry. The front desk staff and cleaning ladies were all nice and helpful. The two things that bothered us were the thin walls, since you can hear a louder neighbor, and that staff are often multitasking and may not be at the desk. Otherwise, it was an amazing place to stay.

The bathroom was filthy, with hair and urine around the toilet and hair throughout the bathtub and shower. The sink faucet was broken, and the room floor was dirty. I spilled some water and wiped it up with a towel that came away brown. The room also smelled like an animal had peed on the floor. At check-in, the receptionist seemed more focused on getting us out of the lobby than helping, and didn’t even tell us where our room was. When I mentioned the problems at checkout, all I got was, “thank you for letting us know.” Don’t stay here.

We booked three weeks but were told around Valentine’s that they wouldn’t renew us, even though we’d been there less than a week. I felt watched over everything we did, and it felt almost like being prisoners. They questioned us about our service dogs. One was still in training and probably shouldn’t have been in an elevator with anyone else. When there was an issue with my daughter-in-law’s service animal, Cara, the assistant, called me instead of talking to her directly. She also called me instead of my daughter-in-law. Jazzy acted like she was a deputy, and the manager never returned my greeting when I said hi. They’re still trying to charge our cards, too. My son has a one-year-old who jumps and plays like a child. Instead of the front desk knocking when there was a noise issue, a guest came to the door the second time. Why put families on the third floor, and why should another guest have to handle that? I feel like we were discriminated against. I don’t recommend this motel, and I’ll make sure people know what it’s like.

After an eight-hour drive, I got there around 9 pm ready for a shower and some sleep, then waited more than 30 minutes for anyone to come to the front desk. When someone finally showed up, they said I couldn’t stay because I was 20, not 21. They’d already taken our money, and the age rule hadn’t come up when we spoke to someone by phone. I also couldn’t find it anywhere on the website. The room had a kitchenette, which I’d been looking forward to, so we were both extremely mad about the wait and the surprise age requirement. The booking was on my fiancée’s card, and they said they couldn’t use it because my name wasn’t on it, but we still could’ve worked that out. If I could give a zero, I would.
