The beds feel like foldout couches with lousy mattresses, and the TV is tiny. For what they charge, especially with the location near Lambeau, they should update some things. It costs as much as other Green Bay rooms, sometimes more, and I can’t see it being worth $100 a night. If I hadn’t already committed to the room, I would’ve driven the extra 15 minutes to the Baymont.

I came for a Marathon and felt unsafe the whole time. The room had holes in the brick walls and ceiling, a drawer with no handle, no TV remote, and toiletries that were depressing at best. The bed was dirty, with a fingernail on it when I arrived, so my family and I slept on top of the covers with our hoods up. I woke up about six times because the bed felt like concrete, and the place made me feel like a prisoner. I kept a knife by the bed because I was scared I wouldn’t get out before the prisoners came for me. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend staying here. They should’ve paid me to sleep there.

The room was poorly lit, had holes in the walls, and was missing a headboard. The shower had black mold, and it was so disgusting I didn’t want to use it. I froze all night because the thermostat was part of an air-conditioning unit that kept shutting off, then starting its loud fans again every minute. It was also so high up that you had to stand on the bed to read it and change the temperature. Getting inside was a hassle too: you have to turn the key with one hand while pushing the door open with the other, which is awkward with luggage. This is a terrible motel. I’d rather sleep in my car. I won’t even get into the smaller stuff.

It was nasty and dirty, and my key wouldn’t work. When I asked the owner for a new one, she started yelling and said it was my last chance. Honestly, never stay here. Maybe if you’re a Breaking Bad fan.
