Spark by Hilton Green Bay

The bed was comfortable, and the heat worked, though when it first kicked in during the cold weather it blew cold air for a few minutes before warming up. Check-in was easy since we'd prepaid, and we were given a fourth-floor room. The clerk was somewhat sarcastic, and the breakfast attendant left before breakfast was over. The toilet sat so low it felt like sitting on the floor, though that might work well for small children. I'm used to taller toilets. There was a refrigerator but no microwave or coffeepot in the room, and the desk chair was just a backless ottoman. One couch arm near the bed was dirty. For popcorn, a hot snack, or a hot drink, we had to go down to the only microwave in the lobby by the front door. There were a couple of small fridges there with drinks and frozen meals for sale. The pool was closed for maintenance, and I didn't see a workout room. Breakfast was the usual continental spread: rolls, muffins, instant oatmeal, cereal, toast, boiled eggs, orange and apple juice, 2% milk, and oat milk. The breakfast room was a decent size and clean, but chilly. A desk employee described this as a no-frills Hilton and said we'd need a higher-grade Hilton for more amenities. We paid more than we have at many hotels that included those things, so this could suit someone looking for a no-frills stay. After I posted my review, the manager asked me to share more details about our stay. I called and got voicemail, then emailed, but never heard back. That felt like the no-frills service the desk employee had mentioned.
