Motel 6 Green Bay, WI - Lambeau

There were three soft spots in the room floor that made it feel like I might fall through, and the shower floor had a similar weak spot. My wife wiped the shower with a clean rag as soon as we arrived, and one swipe turned it black. The walls and ceiling had stains everywhere. The sheets and pillows were stained, and the replacements we requested were stained too, so we bought our own blankets and pillows to feel comfortable enough to stay. For a budget motel, the lack of basic cleanliness was absurd. Unless you have no other choice, I wouldn't stay here. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, since those aren't provided.

The whole place smelled of cat urine and mold, and it felt scary, with unpleasant-looking guests and the smell of drugs and bad decisions. They kept our $50 deposit without proof or an explanation of what was supposedly damaged. They said the sheets were damaged, but we have a video of the rooms after our stay. I wouldn't recommend it. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I don't get what people are complaining about. This hotel is clean, quiet, and cheap, and nobody bothers you. I've lived out of hotels for two years, and this is the best one I've been to. Great staff and great guests. I'd definitely recommend it. Way better than some fancy, good-for-nothing Holiday Inn.

I canceled my reservation on the Motel 6 website two days before the stay, but they said they never received it and charged my card. They are refunding me after I called, though it will take seven days. I've never had this problem with another Motel 6, and I won't stay here.
