Village Inn

Clean rooms and great service. We had a really good stay.

The hotel was clean and well kept, warm and safe, though it wasn’t always pretty. I didn’t see anything that would scare a kid, and really, that’s what matters. I’d recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay.

When we woke up, I was covered in red marks. I think I got bed bugs, though I waited before deciding in case that wasn’t what they were. I was the only one in my party affected. I’m writing this so people know to be careful, and so the staff clean the beds better. It happens to almost everyone, but it shouldn’t have happened at all. The room had seemed fine and in order when we arrived. The man at the front desk seemed okay, just very brief and not very friendly, but I wasn’t going to judge him over that. I chose not to complain until we left.

The outside could use some updating, but the room we have is great. It’s spacious, with a kitchenette, nice TV, and a bathroom with both a tub and shower. Everything’s clean and the beds are nicely made. I’m posting this because I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews. Adding pictures.
