The food was delicious, and Paul and Candace made the weekend feel special with their warmth and generous hospitality. My husband and I needed a little escape, and Greenway House was just right. We’d happily recommend it for a beautiful getaway. Thanks again, Paul and Candace. We’ll be back!

The porch and patio were lovely places to unwind, and the grounds felt warm and inviting. Inside, this historic home has been restored and decorated in an early 1900s style, with a pleasantly updated bathroom. I’d suggest the owners greet guests in person during the 3-6 p.m. check-in window and offer simple daily greetings like “Good morning” or “Have a great day.” That would help visitors feel welcome. A daily trash and tidy service would also keep the wastebasket from overflowing.

Breakfast was a 10/10, with fresh fruit and everything cooked just right and seasoned well. The room was clean and had the modern comforts we wanted alongside the old-fashioned look. We came to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, but I surprised her with an engagement, and Paul and Candace even left flowers in our room afterward. They were wonderful hosts, made sure we were looked after, and were great to talk with. We’d highly recommend it and are already planning to return soon.

We could walk to downtown Green Lake and Heidel House from here, which was handy. Our room was clean and roomy, and breakfast was a treat. A really nice spot for a weekend away.

Breakfast was my favorite part, gourmet and genuinely tasty, with lovely company and conversation each morning. We came to Greenway House for our anniversary and enjoyed all the little touches. Check-in was easy, the room looked gorgeous, and we especially liked the double shower and the soft robes for relaxing.
