Motel 6 Green River, UT

I choose Motel 6 for the low prices and pet-friendly policy, and the location here is handy, right by the highway with an easy-to-see sign. The lot was very well lit and felt safe. The front desk was polite, and I was able to check in just before midnight. There were clean white linens, a table and chair that I appreciate having, and strong water pressure. The bed was extremely firm, though, and sleeping on my side left my hip very sore. The pillows looked plush but were too airy to support my head, and there were only two for the queen bed. The room had no fridge, microwave, or safe, which seemed unusual for a Motel 6. The TV was noticeably smaller than at others I've visited. In the accessible shower, water leaked out and stayed on the floor for hours. It needs more drains or a steeper slope, and there's no handheld showerhead, which could be a problem for someone with limited mobility.

The value is good, even though the amenities are sparse, as you'd expect at a Motel 6. In the off season it's a pleasant, quiet place to stay if that's what you like.

We got our keys early, which let us unload everything before heading out to the national parks. The staff also provided everything we asked for when we arrived. We stayed three nights, and housekeeping was great, emptying the trash and leaving fresh towels every day. The rooms were clean, and the bathroom and shower were awesome. There's a nice pool if you want one, and the price was extremely low. This is a perfect hotel for people visiting the parks, and we'd definitely stay again.

I've paid more and gotten much worse. The room was clean and well maintained, and though it's very basic, it's good for the price. The woman at the front desk was super nice and made check-in quick and easy.
