We were on our way to the campground, but the gate was closed because it was late, so we ended up looking for a hotel in a pinch. I’m glad we found this one. There was no bad smell, the bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, and I didn’t see any bugs. The stay was surprisingly good.

I can’t believe we were charged full price for a blah room and service that was just as bad, if not worse. I can’t down about the excessive vulnerability engine thoughtfully.

There were roaches, including a dead one on a dirty towel left on the floor. The room was filthy: the sink and fridge and microwave hadn’t been cleaned, the couch and bed were disgusting, the toilet was falling apart, and there was only half a roll of toilet paper. There were holes in the doors, holes in the curtains, and plugs that only partly worked. I had to bring my own blankets and pillows. People hung around all night smoking and drinking. The place felt like a homeless shelter, needs remodeling, and the online photos are outdated. It definitely wasn’t worth the price.

The front desk got me checked in quickly, but the property needs a serious renovation. It’s worn down and falling apart, with rushed-looking patch jobs and signs of water damage everywhere. The bathroom doorframe was rotting, and some of the mismatched tub tile repairs looked ready to fall off. There were holes in the walls, patched holes, and splatters from spills that hadn’t been cleaned. I wouldn’t walk barefoot on the carpet. The old carpet and decor looked like they hadn’t been updated since 1997, and the curtains were torn and let light through. There were burn holes in the bedding, and nasty stains under the mattress pad, so it seemed they hadn’t separated laundry from the non-smoking rooms. Clean it, don’t cover it up! The iron holder had no iron or board, and the ice bucket came without cups. You can hear the interstate and people outside because the room isn’t soundproof. There’s no dining room, just whatever snacks are put out for “breakfast” before 9 am. Most positive reviews seem to come from people whose only other option was sleeping on the street because they were homeless. Everyone deserves a clean place to sleep. This is a franchise, so the owner or manager is responsible for upkeep, not corporate. It’s the cheapest place, and I guess you get what you pay for. Sleeping in the car might have been better.

This place is filthy, the rooms aren’t clean, the staff aren’t friendly, and the hotel seems poorly run. I’m not coming back. It gets no stars from me.
