The Groome Inn

The bridal suite was lovely for our first wedding anniversary stay at The Groome Inn in November 2018. The whole visit felt romantic, from seeing the beautifully lit property as we drove up the driveway after dark to the comfortable bed and cozy fireplace in the room. The innkeeper cooked us a delicious breakfast, and everyone greeted and treated us warmly. We recommend it to all our friends and hope to return.

I’ve been to two weddings here, and it’s a lovely, intimate venue. The bride came down the beautiful curved staircase and walked along the garden corridor, then the couple said their vows under a lush green arbor. Afterward, dinner was served while the wedding party photos were being taken, and we danced outside under the lights with the DJ. Later, we sat on the wraparound porch by the water fountain. The house is spacious and charming. The wedding party stayed for the weekend in five unique, spacious rooms, each with its own custom, luxurious bathroom. It’s a great place for an event.

Breakfast was delicious, and my room was both amazing and comfortable. The inn is beautiful, welcoming, and relaxing. Mary Kay is a delightful host. I had a great, restful stay and can’t wait to return. It was the first time I woke up without back pain!

Elizabeth was so kind and took great care of us, and all the staff were wonderful. The Groome Inn feels like a unique, beautiful home away from home. The house is just as lovely as it looks in the pictures, and the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Breakfast was out of this world. My boyfriend and I had a five-star stay all around. It’s such a romantic place, and we’ll definitely be back soon!
