Comfort Inn & Suites Greenville Near East Carolina University

I've stayed here six or seven times, and the experience has been consistent each visit. The staff are outstanding, always friendly and helpful, and the whole place stays clean and quiet. Rooms have lots of light, which some hotels really lack. Breakfast is plentiful and hot, and there's a clean indoor pool and a really nice gym. It's in central Greenville, with plenty of restaurants within about three miles. Cracker Barrel and Texas Roadhouse are close enough to walk to.

A couple of months after our stay, the hotel called to tell us they'd found my son's wallet. We had no idea where he'd lost it, but the staff worked with us to get it back several states away. Every last dollar was still inside, and they even included a cute note. Their honesty and hospitality were such a breath of fresh air. During our stay, the staff had been super friendly, and the included hot breakfast was better than average. The hostess was outstanding, keeping everything clean and stocked. Five stars plus for all the staff we dealt with. I'd highly recommend staying here in the area. Thank you!

I arrived at 4 a.m. and had to sit around until 3 p.m. because management wouldn't let me check in even an hour early. I was willing to pay an early check-in fee, or even buy the extra night, but the manager or owner wouldn't allow it. The late-night staff member was great and tried different ways to help, but couldn't make an exception and told me to wait for the manager. There are other hotels nearby that allow early check-in. If you need to check in early, this isn't the place for you. Management wasn't helpful, and because it was the day of the reservation I couldn't cancel. I won't return.

Kristan Kluase made our stay a GAINT, and the staff were spectacular from minute ONE!!! My wife and I stay here whenever we come to town. This time we were here on 7/9/2025, and a few years ago our first visit was while the hotel was under renovation. I had a mtg to attend but no decent bck ground, and the staff jumped i to action and made it happen!!!
