The evening desk worker was friendly and made me feel welcome, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. My remodeled room was clean and very comfortable, with a nice bed and pillows. It had a coffee pot, iron, hair dryer, microwave, fridge, and flat screen TV, plus laminate flooring and tile in the bathroom. Some paint was missing, and access to the rooms is from outside, but it was still a very nice economy motel.

I booked two rooms after checking that pets were allowed, but hadn’t realized there was a $20 per pet per night fee. They also put a $50 hold on my card for a smoking room, even though the stated charge for smoking was a flat $150. I don’t understand the extra hold. The rooms need TLC, with lots of missing paint; one toilet ran the whole time, and one room seemed to have used shampoo. The phone in the other room had no dial tone at all. There were boxes in reception and an ice machine only partly assembled. For over $100 a night plus last minute charges, the rooms should be nicer. I’m mad I didn’t take photos.

The pictures on the website don’t show what the place really looks like, and the room didn’t seem or feel clean. In my non-smoking room, smoke, including what smelled like weed, seemed to come from behind the bed and gave me headaches. There were holes in the wall, an uneven toilet, cigarette burns in the sheets, and pillows that looked used. The bedspread looked and felt like an old curtain. I’ll never stay here again or recommend it.
