The room and the property looked much better online and from the outside than they did in person. At first glance it seemed like they’d just put on fresh paint. Inside, the floor hadn’t been swept or mopped, and our feet turned black. The tables were dirty, there were used washcloths on the floor behind the bathroom door, and stains and drips marked the curtains and walls. Dogs had chewed the bathroom door and side tables. The bed was the worst we’ve had at any motel or hotel, the pillows felt like couch cushions, and the thin, dollar store style blankets were uncomfortable. We barely rested. People came up to our car asking for money whenever we pulled into the lot, and there was trash everywhere. The toilet paper and soap seemed to be one ply. There was no hair dryer, and the bathroom outlet still didn’t work after we pressed the reset button, which had been painted over. The motel is conveniently next to a gas station and Burger King, but we won’t book here again. If we’d known what it was really like, we would have stayed somewhere else.

I spent about three months at Studio 6 and found it comfortable, with friendly, helpful staff. It was the best option I could find in the area, and everything I needed was nearby. Having security around helped me feel safe. I also appreciated room service and the morning coffee. The team’s putting in a real effort and doing a great job.

We arrived around midnight, exhausted, and a gentleman had told us there was no deposit. Abigail still required $50, so we paid it. We were so tired we passed out after getting to the room, but noticed the problems when we woke up: the tub and bathmat were dirty, there was dried feces on the bathroom floor, and boogers on the wall. The microwave looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, there were roaches, and the room had a queen mattress on a full size bed frame, so we kept falling off the sides. There wasn’t even toilet tissue in the bathroom. I can’t believe they wanted a deposit with all of that going on. My company won’t stay here again, and I’d tell others to avoid it too. I live here at the moment, and it’s quiet, spacious, and very clean. The room has a full kitchenette with a full size fridge, a mini fridge, granite counters, and two built in convection burners. There’s also a full sized bed and a wall mounted HDTV with DirecTV. The staff, from maintenance and housekeeping to the front desk, are amazing. The on site laundromat is open 24/7 and costs $3 to wash and $3 to dry. Free coffee is available in the office every morning from 6AM to 10AM.

The check in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean and well kept, which made for a welcoming arrival. Studio 6 Greenville I-85 Near Downtown is conveniently placed for getting to downtown and Interstate 85, with attractions, restaurants, and shopping nearby. My stay was a positive one: comfortable accommodations at an affordable price, especially useful for budget conscious visitors exploring the city.
