The gym and other amenities were fine, and the rooms were average, neither especially impressive nor bad. The location also made it easy to reach shops, restaurants, and things to do nearby. Breakfast was the low point. The same items were served all week, and they were instant or poorly cooked. The bacon was extremely greasy, and the eggs seemed like the bulk kind you just add water to. Breakfast wasn’t included in every room, and at nearly $18 per meal after tax, we didn’t think it was worth paying for. We skipped the made-to-order food because if the basics weren’t done well, I didn’t trust the more specialized options. One surprise on the bill was parking. We were charged $5 a day even though three of us had carpooled in one car. I didn’t see that disclosed or hear about it at check-in; I only noticed it after we left. It was a mixed experience overall, though not a bad one. It was a business trip, so an average stay was enough.

The room was a highlight, with plush beds, a roomy, well-kept bathroom, and amenities that all worked as they should. We also enjoyed the breakfast, and it was handy to have a bar and restaurant, snack areas, and a gym on site. The location was great, and the service surpassed what we expected.

We travel with our cat and pay the extra fee for her. She got frightened and crawled into a hole in the box spring through its flimsy cover, where she became stuck. My husband and I removed the mattress and box spring and eventually got her out. Two staff members then brought us a replacement box spring without any holes. They were great, and the location is great too. We’ll stay here again.

The AC was loud and couldn’t really cool the room below 68°F, and the parking lot was very full. Staff were friendly, though a bit reserved. On the plus side, we slept well: the bed was soft, the pillows were good, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The shower pressure on the fifth floor was great.

The front desk staff were efficient, but I found the kitchen staff dirty. There were dirty dishes at the buffet, and they were rude when checking our room number to confirm we’d paid for the food. I’ll definitely tell people not to eat at this hotel.
