Residence Inn by Marriott Denver Tech Center

The room worked perfectly for our small family, and my boys especially loved the pull-out sofa. We were in town to surprise family for Christmas, and the host (Airbnb) was responsive. The hotel staff were genuinely kind, which made the trip stress-free. There's a Starbucks nearby and an Einstein Bros. Bagels with a great mountain view. Our flight landed after midnight, so we called ahead. They understood and waited for us to check in around 12:30 a.m. Tom at the front desk was especially welcoming. If you don't have a Bonvoy account yet, let him sign you up. We'd definitely stay here again.

The WiFi was my one real complaint. Even after the upgrade, speeds were around 1mbps to 5mbps, with ping over 200ms. If you need internet for work or entertainment, plug an Ethernet cable into the TV box. The staff were excellent at every hour, whether I spoke with the front desk in the morning, afternoon, or at midnight. Coco, Cameron, and the others were polite and helpful, keeping things running smoothly. My room was clean and had a few pots and pans. It's an affordable option with a townhome atmosphere, close to the train station and interstate, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Highway noise could bother light sleepers.

Worst place to stay. They used so much mosquito spray in the room that breathing it day and night gave me a fever. Leaving the window open didn't help. The soda-based soap they provided irritated my skin, and the mattresses were offgassing with a green tea smell. They charge 100% for cancellations. Don't fall into the trap.

This place feels like home away from home, and the staff are like family: welcoming, helpful, caring, and loving. The service is great. GM Felecity, Front Desk Sup Christina, evening desk agent Cameron, night shift Tom, and booking agent Cocoa were all absolutely amazing. The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast was amazing, especially the eggs. At other hotels, the eggs are usually watery. Again, an amazing place to stay.
