We've stayed here twice during major disasters, and both times the room was clean and comfortable. The place is a bit outdated, but very affordable, and everyone was super nice. During the ice storm we were without power, so the clean tubs and hot water for baths were much appreciated.

The room was a bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It hadn't been vacuumed, with dirt and ashes on the floor and beside the toilet. There was hair on the floor, and the tub hadn't been cleaned either. It seemed like the bed was the only thing that had been changed and made.

Grenada is my hometown, and I'll stay here when I come back to visit. It's under new management, and the new owner is a great guy who showed me a lot of love and hospitality. I'll be back when I come home.

The service was awful, and if I could give zero stars, I would. When we tried to check in, we said we needed a non-smoking room, but the man was nosy, saw my sister smoking, and said we were getting a smoking room. I'm pregnant, can't walk up stairs, and can't be around smoke, so that was inconsiderate. They smoke outside, and there's also a one-year-old baby who I don't want around the smoke. There wasn't an accessible plug next to the bed or buttons on the phone.

The rates were reasonable, and the gentleman and another worker were both pleasant. The gentleman even checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied with the rate. We'd stay here again :)
