Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Griffin

The front desk lady had a terrible attitude. She said we hadn't paid for the next day, even though we showed her the receipts, and she never apologized for the mistake. The room was dirty too: stained sheets, hair in the bed and all over the tubs, and dirty tubs and towels. It was overpriced, with awful customer service. Save your time and money.

At least we could watch the July 4th fireworks from the balcony just outside our room. The stay itself was rough. Our first room had flies everywhere, and someone had covered the smoke detector with toilet paper. They did switch us to a much cleaner room, but every bathroom linen was stained, and some stains looked clearly like blood. We booked through Priceline.

The bathroom walls were moldy, and moisture had led to fungus growing out of the floor. The woman at the front desk, a large woman with glasses, was extremely rude and nasty to me. Her kids work there in maintenance. The place wasn't worth the money, with a room that felt like it was rotting and staff I found demonic.

The sheets were cold and wet, like sleeping on water. The room smelled as soon as I walked in, and the tub was filthy. There were water stains on the wall and flies at the windows. Definitely not worth $90.
