We never spent the night. When my wife saw the property, she said there was no way she was staying and that she'd rather sleep in the car. It was plainly unsafe, and a no-refund policy meant our money was gone while we had to find somewhere else. Part of the building was boarded up from a fire, and it looked like many rooms had people living there by the week or month. There wasn't a separate office, just one of the rooms being used as one. I'd seen a review with roach photos, too. This property shouldn't be in business.

We booked at the last minute for a spontaneous Foxwoods trip, arrived at 9:50 pm, and were back at the desk asking for a refund by 10:00. The parking lot was full of grocery carts, including one blocking our room door. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but reeked of smoke. A trash bag was tied over the smoke detector, which made it look like someone was trying to turn it into a smoking room. The bathroom had a huge hole in the floor or wall, as if someone had put a foot through it, and there was a cockroach on the wall. The bathroom sink didn't work, so they'd added a second sink outside the bathroom instead. There was another roach in the bedroom, four dead bugs stuck to the ceiling, and what looked like sesame seeds in the linens. The walls were stained and scuffed. The bedspread on the first bed had so many burn holes that you could see the sheet underneath, and the chair and ottoman were stained too. We didn't stay. I've never been anywhere filthier. Please read reviews before booking. This is the last time I skip that step. The man at the desk understood when we asked for a refund, but Expedia told me the next day they had to talk to several people because they were getting the runaround. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car or under a bridge before staying here. Xoxo, you're welcome.

We spent half an hour waiting and driving back and forth trying to find the office, and when we finally did, nobody was there. The rooms looked like something you'd find in a third-world country. Cockroaches were running around, and everything was worn out and gross. I've stayed in nicer trap houses. I honestly can't believe anyone runs a business like this. I'd pay maybe $39 to stay here if I were desperate. This is the slums of hotels and motels, and I'm calling the health department because surely this place should be shut down. Avoid it and sleep in your car.

I've never been to a hotel this nasty. Roaches were all over the room, and it smelled awful. Even Motel 6 in Groton looks luxurious by comparison. They need to replace the carpet, beds, doors, and cabinets, and fix the bathroom. The towels smelled like doo doo. Why hasn't the state shut this place down? It should cost 5 dollars a night.
