Got a last-minute room here for Easter, and honestly I’ve paid more for Airbnbs nearby that weren’t as nice. The staff were friendly, the area is nice, and Five Guys and Walmart are about a 15-minute walk away. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which says a lot coming from someone whose back hurts on most beds. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly or lock, but it was just me and my husband, so it wasn’t much of an issue. Definitely would stay again!

After we got back from dinner, I was changing when a wasp started flying noisily around the room. I blow up if I get stung, so I went to the desk for help or to ask for another room. They wouldn’t change my room or give me my money back, and didn’t offer any help. I was angry, grabbed my things, and left before 8 p.m. The motel has dark old wood furniture, and the bathroom looked OK.

The rooms were very clean and had cable. The people were really nice and made sure we had what we needed during our stay. On our second night they knocked to ask if we needed anything, like towels or toilet paper. Checkout was easy, just drop the key in the box, and it was affordable too.

The rooms are basic, but have everything you need for a good night’s rest, and there’s so much nearby, just minutes away. The owners are extremely nice and personable, and gave us great suggestions for places to eat and things to do. You can’t beat the price. I won’t hesitate to stay again when I’m back in CT.

The owners were really nice and made sure I had what I needed in the room all week. It was very clean, and I definitely recommend staying here.
