Best Inn

We had a great stay at a fair price, about 7 miles from the course. We were there Sunday before the Masters Monday practice round. The room was neat and clean, and the firm beds were comfortable. The furniture looked a little dated but was fine. Staff were great, and there was a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator in the room.

The staff were great, and the woman who checked us in did a great job. The room itself was just okay, though, and the sheets had stains. Cleaning was passable, but some spots still needed wiping or a more thorough clean. The bed was somewhat comfortable, and the pillows weren’t.

The bathroom was flooding by morning because the tub or shower upstairs was leaking. Also, the room door didn’t seem like it would keep anyone out if they wanted to get in. The woman at check-in, though, was fabulous and very helpful.

The front desk woman was ridiculous. I called with a question and was being nice, but she sounded aggravated with me. I tried to let that go, then after asking me to repeat myself for the third time, she said, “You literally just woke up out my sleep and I’m trying to see what u talking about.” Sleep, while on the job? That’s crazy. I’d like to speak to the manager!
