The sheets had visible stains and hairs when we checked the beds, and the room had a really strong, unpleasant smell. The air conditioner also wasn't working right. We had planned to spend one night there on a fishing trip, but there was activity in the parking lot that seemed suspicious and made us uneasy. We left right away and found somewhere else. I'd spend a little more and stay elsewhere.
The floors and fridge were dirty, and there were bed bugs. Roaches started running everywhere when my brother began eating. We had needed a room quickly because his house had caught fire, and Mom had paid for two nights, so we felt stuck. The TV showed “no signal”; the owner said it couldn't be watched. Mom went to the desk to ask what could be done, but got no help. I spoke to the woman through the glass for her because Mom couldn't hear, and we both got rude with each other. I told her pest control needed to treat the problem, but she wouldn't listen. We don't want to live with roaches, and this place should be shut down until the bugs are under control. Take my word and don't give them business. The hotel across the street beside foodland is much better and only a few dollars more. I had to give at least one star to post this, but it deserves a negative rating. Those people are nasty.
My room already had a full trash can and two half-finished cans of Dr pepper. The beds were dirty and rusting, there were holes in the walls, and the shower was covered in spots I couldn't identify. The whole place felt dingy and dirty. At least the roaches don't cost extra. I just hope I don't come away with a disease from this hovel.
No WiFi, no free breakfast, and roaches. I tried telling the office about the bugs, but the door was locked. I went back later for breakfast and it was still locked, with nobody around. The location was noisy, and it felt overpriced for what you get. They put me upstairs, which I don't understand since the hotel didn't have many guests.
There weren't hand towels anywhere in the hotel, and our room wasn't clean. The place was crowded and congested, too. As I checked out, a guy was saying someone had tried to break into his car. Then the hotel called asking me to write a review in exchange for a discounted stay. I went along with it, but never got the discount. That showed me they cared about their image, not helping guests, so I came back to edit this and give an honest account. I don't want anyone else to have a bad experience.
