Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Richmond Airpor

That walk-in shower was easily my favorite part. The room was spacious, spotless, stocked, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Check-in at the Fairfield Inn by the Richmond airport went smoothly, with a clean lobby and staff getting us into a room without hassle. The upgraded key lock seemed like a nice touch. In the morning, the toilet stopped working, so we waited for housekeeping to come fix it and headed out while they took care of it. When we got back, the key card wouldn't open the door. Management said it deactivates if it touches a phone, reactivated it, and sent us back upstairs. Still no luck. Housekeeping spotted us struggling and called management up, sparing us another trip downstairs. The door lock battery had died. Management charged it for a few minutes, joked that we wouldn't get locked inside, and got us in. No more problems after that, and I think we were refunded for the day we barely stayed, which I appreciated. A clean, pleasant stay with a couple of technical hiccups. I'd stay again, but will keep an eye on that lock.

The hotel was quiet and the room was comfortable and clean, exactly what I needed. No problems at all. Check-in was quick and easy, and Lateshia at the front desk was welcoming and super cool, but not over the top, just helpful. That was appreciated after a long day of travel. If you're flying in or out of Richmond, this is a solid place to stay. Having Lateshia check you in gets things off on the right foot. I'll be back.

Ms Jenny made both airport shuttle rides feel easy. She picked us up, brought us to the hotel, then returned us to the airport the next morning. She was kind and friendly and filled us in on what we needed to know about the area. The rooms were clean, the fitness center spotless, and the hotel felt inviting, with every comfort we needed. We have family in Richmond, so this will absolutely be our regular place to stay on visits.

We travel a lot as Titanium Elite Bonvoy members, and this hotel's location near Richmond airport is handy. They treated us well and upgraded us to a suite because of our status. The decor was nice, and several employees were especially kind and hospitable, which will keep us coming back for early or late flights. Carrie, the breakfast attendant, was personable, capable, and hardworking. Her smile, pleasant manner, and wonderful breakfast got our day off to a great start. Michelle at the front desk was friendly and hospitable while checking us in and making sure the room met our expectations. She'd also been to one of the airport hotels in Florida we were about to visit, so we enjoyed talking about the wonderful employees there.
