Inn At Mavericks

We've stayed here a few times and love the beautiful views, convenient location, dog-friendly policy, and friendly, accommodating staff. The rooms are nice, but the couch, bed, and dining chairs are all so uncomfortable, which is why I gave it a 3. Definitely try it for yourself. 😊

The water is right there, literally, and we had plenty of room. We had a great stay and would come again. There are lots of spots for food and drinks within walking distance. From our patio, we could watch all the water activities at the yacht club, just a short walk away. There wasn't enough fog for the horn sound. Connie the Innkeeper was great and answered my questions before we arrived.

You can't get much closer to the water, and the location is fantastic. Our room was clean and nicely appointed, though it could use more of a seashore feel; the living room could have been anywhere in America. Laid-back bars and restaurants are an easy walk away. I'd especially recommend blue ocean brewing across the street and Barbara’s fish trap. I laughed when I saw a poor review complaining about sea lion and foghorn noise. That's exactly why you should stay here, or not.

Watching boats leave the harbor over warm coffee on a chilly morning was such a treat. We had a great time and can't wait to return. Our dog loved the private patio, where she could lounge in the sun, watch birds, and go potty easily. The bed was super comfortable, and we slept well. The huge bathtub was great for a soak. DoorDash food came quickly, and having silverware in the room was handy.
